The Z32 was the one that strayed from the path. The Z had always been a perfornamce car for the budget conscious buyer. The Z32 strayed from that path... and it cost Nissan dearly. Too expensive... and much too blaoted... Nissan lost the core buyers that the Z had always been able to count on. The Z has never been an exotic... and was never meant to be... the new Z seems to realize this... and looks to be getting back to it's roots.
